Welcome to Windsworth!

Come and stay here offgrid in our large stone house. Although it's offgrid it's surprisingly comfortable, with splendid beds (with Egyptian cotton sheets) a large sitting room with French windows, a superb kitchen/dining room and conventional loos and showers. What's more, it's set in a 70-acre hillside holding on the south Cornish coast, with half a mile of our own beach (accessible if you're fit!) and with spectacular land and sea views. Our land has become a privately run nature reserve and – a long-held secret spot – it’s now a place where you can visit with your family and friends.

In April 2019 we were featured in The Guardian in its 15 best offgrid places to stay in the UK. Then in August in The Times Saturday travel section, in its The best off-grid places to stay in the UK.

Or you may come just for the day by walking the (challenging) old coast path along the wild coastal slope to our turf labyrinth (see photos below), free of charge, 24/7. For more information, please contact us (scroll down).

Oh, and if you'd like to find out about what we're up to from time to time, go to Facebook Places, Windsworth, and Like us!

NB there is another Windsworth (named in honour of our holding!) in St Blazey, near St Austell, 20 miles away; don't get confused!
